Spring News 🌞 Holiday Clubs, Mother's Day Workshops and Upcoming Workshops
A Wonderful Weekend of Mother’s Day Workshops!
We had the most amazing time celebrating Mother’s Day with a weekend full of creativity! It was so special to welcome so many of you - whether you were treating a loved one, spending quality time together, or simply enjoying a well-deserved moment for yourself.
We kicked things off at Hive Design Studio with a cosy Arm Knitting Workshop, where guests crafted beautiful, snuggly blankets. This was followed by a Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop in the afternoon, perfect for adding a handmade touch to any home. A special mention to Jo, one of Hive’s owners, who added an extra homemade touch to the experience with her delicious cakes - such a treat!
Sunday’s Arm Knitting Workshop at the Cocoon&me Den was equally special. We welcomed a lovely mix of guests, including three sisters who surprised their mum with the workshop as a gift, as well as a mother & daughter who each made a stunning striped blanket together. Others joined simply as a Mother’s Day treat to themselves, which we absolutely love! The cosy, intimate setting of our HQ worked beautifully for this workshop, & we’re excited to add more sessions here throughout the year.

Easter Holiday Craft Club Fun!
With the Easter holidays in full swing for some, we’ve swapped our usual after-school club for special holiday craft sessions!
We kicked off the fun with arm knitting, where the kids made their own cosy blankets, complete with colourful tassels! For those who finished early, they made pom poms & pom pom garlands, which are popular with all ages!
Then, in our crochet session, they created either a water bottle holder or a summer crossbody bag using recycled cotton - a perfect project for the warmer months ahead!
The fun continued with our Kids’ Crochet Easter Basket Workshop, where they crafted beautiful baskets using chunky recycled cotton & oversized crochet hooks.
It’s incredibly rewarding to watch these creative kids bring their imaginations to life, using their design skills & a little encouragement from us to craft their own unique pieces, no two creations have been the same!

This Spring's Workshops
Spring has sprung, and we've got a fresh line up of workshops for you to enjoy!
Please make your booking as soon as possible. We do have minimum participant levels, so unfortunately we've had to postpone a couple of workshops this month due to not reaching the minimum. So, whilst we love last minute bookings, booking early helps us to confirm whether we have enough bookings to run a workshop.
