Our new Pattern range, Workshops, Kits and Yarn, plus a message about Coronavirus
We have some positive news to share with you at this difficult time.
During the coming weeks, as many of us will be spending more time at home, we are happy to announce that we have created a new range of patterns. Using textile techniques such as crochet & macramé, our contemporary collection teaches you skills that you may learn at home, so that you may create your own pieces all at your own pace. Each pattern includes written instructions & easy step by step photos for beginners. They are available on our website as a downloadable digital file, or as a hard copy which we will post to you.
Currently we have 4 patterns that you may purchase: Starter for 10 - a simple DIY guide that shows you 10 basic Macramé Knots for Beginners, a gorgeous Crochet Storage Bag, a stylish Macramé Wall Hanging & a modern Beginners' Macramé Plant Hanger.
We hope to add to this range of patterns, & if there is anything you would like to see us create a pattern for, please let us know. To access our patterns, you will find a link at the end of this email.
Don't forget we also stock a range of Bobbiny Yarns, that are perfect for our new patterns. Our recycled cotton yarn range has been restocked this week, with some new fabulous colours added!
Our handmade Kits using textile techniques, such as crochet & macramé are also available on our website. These kits use sustainable materials, or recycled yarn & accessories wherever possible.
Shortly we will also be adding a range of accessories, which we hope you will find useful for your textile projects. Do email us if you'd like more details.
We also wanted to get in touch considering the fast-changing nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, which is causing a great deal of worry for everyone in our community.
Following the latest government advice, we understand that you may have questions regarding the status of our workshops. This is a situation without precedence, we thank you for your patience & understanding, as we work through rescheduling these workshops. We are contacting everyone who has booked, & hope to offer new dates for later in the year, meaning we can roll over their booking. We don't want anyone to lose out on our workshops. Our priority currently is moving the workshops which are being held this month, & in April, but all workshops will continually be reviewed, as circumstances change.
Small Businesses are the backbone of the economy, yet in times of crisis we are sadly the ones that often get hit the hardest. We shall continue to prioritise the health and safety of our supporters, & staff with any decisions we need to make in the current climate.
Thank you for your continued support. Our thoughts are with all those currently affected, & we wish them well.
Take care, wishing you all good health,
Paula & all at Cocoon&me
